Gary Lucombe, DDS

Born on the island of Trinidad, Dr. Gary Lucombe earned a B.S in Biology at CUNY Medgar Evers. Following his graduation, he obtained his D.D.S degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, where he also received extensive training in dental implantology. While on active duty in the United States Army, Dr. Lucombe served as Clinic Chief while stationed in Korea and in Edgewood, MD. He also served as a Dental Officer in the United States Air Force National Guard until he left with an honorable discharge in 2009.

Iris Jeffries Morton, DDS, MS Dr. Iris Jeffries Morton received a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C.  She completed a residency in general dentistry from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, in Washington, D.C., where she later served as a staff dentist. Dr. Morton is affiliated with The National Dental Association, The Academy of Women in Dentistry and American Dental Education Association. She has served as a volunteer with the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Association, the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and on the Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood. Dr. Morton is an assistant professor and the clinical coordinator in the Oral Diagnosis and Radiology Department at Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Morton was in full-time private practice as a general dentist for 25 years in Silver Spring, MD.


Anisa Porter, Receptionist

Ms. Porter is our office receptionist with a vast knowledge in dentistry. She informs our patients of their financial responsibility in addition to scheduling appointments and sending appointment reminders. Ms. Porter’s goal is to one day become a dental hygienist. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.


Cordel Bainbridge, Dental Assistant

Ms. Bainbridge is our dental assistant and ensures that the dental instruments we use are always cleaned and sterilized before use, among other duties. Ms. Bainbridge lends a comforting hand to our patients whenever they visit our office.
